COVID-19 Updates

Thank you for your interest in our studio! At this time, due to a mandated pause, our in-person studio classes are cancelled until further notice (with a tentative re-opening date of December 21, pending the Governor’s instruction). Whether you are a beginner or have a regular practice, we hope you can make yourself cozy in your space and meet us virtually on the mat, on Saturdays from 8:30-9:30am CST.

HOW TO PREPARE FOR YOUR FIRST CLASS:

  • Please fill out and email kjh@kali.mn a signed Yoga Waiver & Release Form.

  • Pre-registration for your class is required ahead of time to receive the Zoom link for the online class.

  • The waiting room for class opens about 10 minutes before the class starts. Give yourself time to settle in and greet other students on the screen if you wish.

  • A yoga mat is helpful to have for your practice as well as blocks, a belt, and a blanket. At the beginning of class the teacher will let you know what you will need for the class.

  • Wear comfortable clothing that will not distract you from your practice. Some people find it helpful to wear more form-fitting clothing to help move easier and not worry about clothing bunching or slipping, others feel the opposite. Find what works for you.

  • When able, avoid heavy meals a couple hours before class. It can be uncomfortable to have food in the stomach while moving in more active postures.

  • SMILE. You are taking your first class! Be gentle with yourself, and always listen to your body. Breathe in…breathe out. You got this!


ABOUT PAYMENT & REGISTRATION:

  • Single Classes and Class Series are available for purchase online. Please buy in advance. If not possible to check out online reach out via email or phone about how to send other forms of payment such as checks or cash.

  • For the remainder of 2020 you can “bring a friend” with you to class! Simply share your Zoom link with your friend and enjoy a class together.
